Lone Star Ministry Connection Events

There are a number of events that we are hosting across the state of Texas throughout the year. The main emphasis of these events is to promote lationships among the attendees and to provide pertinent information that can be used at the attendees' churches,
ministries, and related organizations. See below the following
variety of events to take place.

Pastoral Lunches

We all like to eat, right?! How about getting together with some of your ministry friends to have some great discussion amongst yourselves, as well as some tasty grubb at one of your favorite places in town? Our plan here is to provide an opportunity for one of your own local ministry leaders, one who has been actively involved in the cultural arena in some manner, share some of his or her insights as to how things are in your local area, then allow for a question and answer session to discuss issues that may or may not have been addressed. These can be scheduled for any time of the year.

Watch for the latest schedule of these lunches in your area of the state.

Leadership Dinners

Opportunities for a large number of pastors and ministry leaders to come together in one place for a regional meeting are difficult to schedule, much less for you to plan on attending. Through this event, we bring representatives from Free Market, Vision America, America Bless God, and other leading organizations in Texas to your area for an informal dinner and presentation. During these events you hear from some of the nation's leaders on the war on the church, our faith, and our culture. These events do not have the intimacy of a roundtable discussion or a pastoral lunch, but they are mighty in stature when it comes to being able to bring some of the country's best speakers on these subjects to your local area.

Please let us know if you would like to bring one of these dinners to your local area. Check back often to this page to see where the next Leadership Dinner has been scheduled.

Roundtable Discussions

These events are centered around inviting a number of pastors in a local area (no more than 20 or so) to attend a discussion, facilitated by Gary Woolverton, Free Market's Director of Pastoral Relations, and/or another member of our staff. We present a short presentation consisting of the addressing of a number of subjects pertaining to the issues that pastors deal with from the pulpit and in the office on a regular basis. These issues may be cultural, social, political, moral, legal, or religious. We have quite an extensive amount of experience in working with many of these issues, so we're able to share some of this expertise with you. After this short briefing, we facilitate the discussion amongst those in attendance as to the experiences and successes the attenders have.

Locations scheduled for pastoral roundtables in 2007 have included Abilene, Amarillo, Austin, Beaumont, El Paso, Killeen, Midland, North Texas, San Angelo, San Antonio, and Waco. We are now making plans for roundtables through Spring 2008.
